1. GENERAL

This document (”Privacy Policy”), together with HOMENET SPAIN IBERIA’S (”Company”) Terms of Use for the Search Service (”Search Service”), available on the Company’s website, www.homenetspain.com (”Website”), describes how the Company processes your personal data in relation to the services the Company provide.

2. PURPOSE AND PROCESSING OF PERSONAL DATA

2.1 By using the Search Service, we process your personal data in accordance with the Terms of Use and this Privacy Policy.

2.2 We process your personal data with the purpose of:

a) fulfil our agreement with you in accordance with the Terms of Use or in accordance with any other contractual obligation between the Company and you as a User of the Search Service,

b) make statistics and analyse data in order to develop the Search Service for functionality, security and methods, as well as analyse markets and customers. As the legal basis for this treatment, we apply our legitimate interest in being able to develop our services and increase our understanding of the market and customers,

c) provide comparative information about products and services from market players. This happens because, for example, the Company interrelates, segments and analyses user data in order to provide customized data based on your specific preferences and behavior patterns. Our legal basis for this processing is that processing is necessary for us to fulfil the Agreement we have with you.

If you do not want the Company to process your personal data in accordance with 2.2, you must notify the Company in accordance with paragraph 3 below. Such notice can be sent to info@homenetspain.com.

2.3 For the purposes described in section 2.2 above, we may treat user data, name, social security number, telephone number, e-mail address, and other information provided to the Search Service. Our legal basis for this processing is that processing is necessary for us to fulfil the Agreement we have with you.

2.4 We will only transfer your personal data, with the purposes listed in 2.2, to third party after a request from you in the Search Service, regarding information about a specific service or group of services from third party players. Beyond this we will transfer personal data to external parties that provide services to us, such as IT service providers. We also provide data to authorities if we are required to do so by law or authority decision. If the Company transfers your personal data outside the EU/EES, it will only happen after adequate protection measures have been taken, for example by entering data transfer agreements with the recipient of the data.

2.5 We may also process your personal data to:

a) fulfil the obligations under law and regulation or by court order;

b) enforce or apply the Terms of Use; or

c) be able to protect our or third parties’ rights, eg in a court process.

3. RIGHTS AND CONTACT

3.1 The Company is responsible for personal data and is responsible for processing your personal data in accordance with applicable law. Your data is saved only as long as there is a need to preserve them to fulfil the purposes for which the data was collected. If your account in the Search Service cancels, we will delete all of the personal data about you that we have saved, unless otherwise stated by legal requirements or to guard the Company’s interests.

3.2 We strive to keep our collections of personal information accurate and up to date. You are free to request access, update, modification and deletion of your personal data and limit our processing of your personal information. You also have the right to object to our personal data processing and the right to data portability. You may also contact the Company at info@homenetspain.com if you wish to call any of your rights as described above. In case of repetitive or unreasonable inquires, the Company is entitled to charge a fee. The Company will normally answer your request within a month.

3.3 In the event that you believe your personal data is incorrect or not treated in accordance with law or regulations issued by law, we encourage you to contact the Company at info@homenetspain.com. We will immediately correct, block or delete inaccurate personal data and personal data not processed in accordance with applicable law.

Agencia Española de Protección de Datos is the supervisory authority for personal data processing. If you believe that we have processed your personal data incorrectly, you can contact Agencia Española de Protección de Datos and report your complaint.

4. SECURITY

The technology we use and this Privacy Policy aims to protect your personal data from unauthorized access and unauthorized use. We may update these actions as new technology becomes available.

5. LINKS

The Search Service and the Website may contain links to and from other third party websites. The Company is not responsible for the content of such websites or for the processing of your personal data at such sites.

6. CHANGE IN THE PRIVACY POLICY

We reserve the right to change our Privacy Policy without notice by publishing a new version of this Privacy Policy on the Website. However, in case of significant changes, we will also notify you of the changes, such as by sending you an e-mail with information about the change.
