If you dream of your own small B&B in Andalusia - then you are not alone !! Many of my customers think the same.

Last week I got to help a family that just has this dream - it is a couple with a background from the restaurant and service industry and with a daughter of 15 years. So the conditions are there to fulfill the dreams and plans they have, ie to give you as a guest an unforgettable stay that makes you do not want to leave or at least feel free to return!

And oh what we have seen wonderful places from Torrox east of Malaga to Monda just above Marbella. We have visited old charming farms with houses that are 125 years old, a little more modern with large estates and 13 rooms, many with their own avocado or mango groves and most surrounded by large beautiful olive groves.

But the choice fell on a beautiful house, newly renovated and nice in old Andalusian finca style with amazingly beautiful views of the valley, right on the outskirts of Alhaurin el Grande.

Until Covid, the business was run by a Belgian couple focusing on the disabled where they offered care and treatment in a fantastic environment, with nurses, massages and excursions in the area - so heavenly nice! But now there were no more guests and it has been forced to close, unfortunately.

Alhaurin el Grande is only 20 min from Malaga airport and about 30 min to the coast and Marbella so the location is very good. The village has about 25,000 inhabitants and has a cozy old town.

For the family, this is perfect as it is intended that the daughter will be able to finish the last years in the Swedish school in Fuengirola, so communication is important and from here she can take the bus there.

I look forward to following their dream and hope that YOU hear from you if you have similar thoughts or just dream of your own little paradise here, a B&B in Andalusia!
