We are approaching the month of September and it is time to get back to everyday life for many and return to school or work. Here on the Costa del Sol, the sun is high and the days are still long and warm. The autumn cold is still a thing of the past and you can enjoy nice summer days for at least 2 more months. It is common among us Scandinavians who live half the year in their home country and half the year here in Spain, to return to Spain at this time of the year to extend the summer and spend the winter half year here. September, October and November are normally a very nice and pleasant period to be here on the Sunshine Coast, when it is mostly sunny, but the hottest months have already passed. The holidays are over and there are not as many tourists visiting the coast, so it will be easier to get around and a wonderful calm on the streets and beaches. Many say that spring and autumn are the best times here, with a pleasant temperature of around 22-25 degrees during the day.

For you golfers, October-November and March-April are fantastic months to stay here and there is a large selection of courses to try along the entire coast. Even for those who like to exercise outdoors, for example cycling, hiking, padel, outdoor gym or why not yoga on the beach, autumn is a good time to spend outdoors. Autumn is also great for exploring the beauty of the Costa del Sol with nice day trips to experience the beautiful scenery, the white villages, different cities, national parks etc. Even the prices of plane tickets and accommodation become cheaper during this season.

Many also combine a trip to the Solkusten with time off and housing management. Are you also thinking about investing in a home on the Costa del Sol and want to extend the summer? Get in touch with us at HomenetSpain and we will help you along the way.
