Malaga is one of Spain's provinces that has really grown and blossomed in recent years. Of course, the city is wonderful to visit all year round and perhaps especially now in winter. So at Christmas time the temperature is between 15-20 degrees and the streets are beautifully decorated with Christmas lights in colorful colors. It smells wonderfully of roasted sweet almonds and all the alleys of the town are filled with a throng of people from all corners of the world who have come to experience the spectacular light show that takes place right in the heart of the center on the main street Calle Larios, every day at 7:00 p.m., 8:30 p.m. and 10:00 p.m. . You can take part in this until January 4. It is an atmospheric light show with nice Christmas music. Why not combine this with a round of the Christmas market down by the new modern harbor and perhaps find something from the local producers of Christmas sweets, wine, cheese, olives etc. Down in the harbor there is also a large selection of nice restaurants and bars, if nothing else it's so cozy to just stroll around.

We want to recommend you a wonderful gastronomic experience. Step by step, for the perfect food and drink route!

Start at the antique bodega Antigua Casa de Guardi. A classic Spanish bodega that has existed since the 19th century with all the typical wines, often quite sweet aperitifs - it doesn't get more Spanish!

Stop at Restaurang Kraken – A creative tapas bar in the heart of Malaga's cozy centre. Here you will find good, exciting tapas as well as fresh vegetarian options.

On to Restaurang Dynamit – A cozy restaurant with atmospheric surroundings and delicious food and high-quality wine. Which, incidentally, is run by a Swede who is also very knowledgeable about Spanish wines! Don't forget to book a table!

Dessert? Yes thank you! A little stop for your sweet dessert on Dulces Dream Boutique Hotel's roof terrace.

Last but not least – AC Hotel by Marriott Malaga Palacio. Round off the evening in the best way on AC's wonderful roof terrace, at the top of the luxury hotel's 15th floor you will find a lounge, restaurant, pool and bar hanging with a spectacular view. Enjoy a magical sunset and perhaps with a cocktail in hand.
